Custom websites, built properly.
Clean, fast sites that show people who you are and make it easy to reach you. No templates, no page builders, no monthly software fees. Everything below is the whole deal: price, process and timeline.
Client work is also what funds my own game projects. You get a website, and somewhere a video game gets made.
What every site gets
Up to 6 pages
Enough for everything a site like this needs: home, about, services, gallery, contact, and one spare.
Three designs to choose from
You get three completely different versions of your home page (same content, different look and feel) and you pick the one you want the site built in.
A custom design
Built for your business from scratch. Not a template with your name dropped into it, and not something you'll recognize from another site.
Unlimited photos
Send as many as you like. Resizing, cropping to fit the layout and compressing them to load fast is all included, however many there are.
Up to 4 videos
Four videos of up to 2 minutes each, compressed so they play smoothly on a phone without eating someone's data.
Works on phones
Tested at every screen size, not just shrunk down in a browser window. Most of your visitors will be on a phone.
Fast loading
Everything compressed and built lean, so pages open quickly even on a weak signal. Slow sites lose people before they read a word.
Findable on Google
Page titles, descriptions, and the structured information search engines use to understand what your business is, what it does and where it operates.
Looks right when shared
Send your link in a text or a DM and it shows your logo, name and details instead of a bare address. Your logo goes in the browser tab too.
Accessible to everyone
Works with keyboard navigation and screen readers, so nobody gets shut out. Plus a custom page-not-found page instead of a broken-looking error.
Two rounds of changes
You go through the finished site and tell me everything you want changed. Two full rounds included, plus a free third if you let me show your site in my portfolio. Anything I got wrong is fixed free and never counts as a round.
Live on your domain
I put it online and connect it to your web address, and I'm careful not to interrupt any email running on that domain. Two weeks of small fixes after launch are included too.
Make it more
Everything below is optional. Take it or leave it, the base price already covers a complete, finished site. This is just the full list of what you can add if you want it, with what each one costs, so nothing ever shows up on a bill as a surprise.
| Enhancement | What it means | Price |
|---|---|---|
| Extra page | Any page beyond the 6 included | $150 per page |
| Extra video | Any video beyond the 4 included | $30 per video |
| Long video | Any video running over 2 minutes | $30 per video |
| Photo editing | Blurring out private details, removing a background, color correction, straightening, repairing a damaged photo. Resizing, cropping and compressing are always free. | $25 per photo |
| Video editing | Trimming, cutting, or stitching clips together. Compression is always free. | $50 per video |
| Spanish version | A button that flips the entire site between English and Spanish. English and Spanish only, those are the two I speak, and I won't build a site in a language I can't proofread. | $400 flat |
| Rush timeline | Adds 40% to the price of the whole job. It does not mean 40% faster. It cuts the designs from 1 week to 3 days and the build from 3 weeks to 1, by pushing your project ahead of everything else on my list. Only available if all your files and text are ready up front. | +40% of the total price |
| Extra revision round | Beyond the rounds already included | $100 per round |
How it works
You hit Start a project
It takes you through two steps. First, a handful of quick questions (how many pages, how many videos, Spanish or not, rushed or not) and you see your estimate straight away. No email needed and nothing is sent yet. If the number works, you continue to the questionnaire: your story, what you offer, how people should reach you, and the look you're after. Rough notes are fine; I'll polish the wording. I read every one and reply personally, usually within a day.
I reply, then you send your files
I come back to you with a confirmed price, a timeline, and a link to a private Google Drive folder set up for your project. Drop your photos, video, logo and text in there, from a computer or your phone. Once everything's in, I invoice the first 30% and the design clock starts the moment that's paid. Gathering photos is usually the slowest part, so start early.
Three home page designs
Within a week of that first payment I send you three completely different designs for your home page. Same content in all three, different look, layout and color. You pick one. Describing a website in words is hard; looking at three and pointing at one is easy.
I build the rest
Once you've chosen a design, I invoice the next 20%. The three-week build clock starts when that's paid, and I build every other page in that style and send you the finished site.
Revisions
You fill out the revision form on this site, listing everything you want changed. That's one round. Two rounds are included, plus a free third if you let me show your site in my portfolio. Anything that's my mistake is fixed free and never counts as a round.
Final payment
Once you tell me you're happy and don't want any more changes, I invoice the remaining 50%. If I don't hear back within 14 days of sending you the site, or of sending back a round of changes, I'll take that as approved and the final payment becomes due, that's only so a project can't sit open forever. Need longer? Tell me and that's completely fine.
Launch
I put the site online and connect your domain. If you have email running on that domain, I take care not to interrupt it. Two weeks of small fixes after launch are included.
Every stage, start to finish
What happens, how long it takes, and what's due at each point. Nothing here is a surprise later.
| Stage | Standard | Rush | Due |
|---|---|---|---|
| You submit the estimate and the questionnaire | I reply within a day | I reply within a day | Nothing |
| You upload your photos, video, logo and text to your Drive folder | Your own time | Your own time | 30% |
| Three home page designs land in your inbox | 1 week | 3 days | Nothing |
| You pick the one you want | Your own time | Your own time | 20% |
| I build the rest of the site | 3 weeks | 1 week | Nothing |
| Each round of changes you ask for | Up to 1 week | Up to 1 week, first in line | Included |
| You sign off and the site goes live on your domain | Same day | Same day | 50% |
What I don't build
- Online stores or anything taking payments through the site
- Customer logins or member areas
- Booking systems, though I can add a button linking to one you already use
If you need one of those I'll tell you straight away, rather than take the job and figure it out on your dime.
Sending me your files
You get your own private Google Drive folder. I create it and share it with your email, and you drag your photos and video straight in, from a computer or your phone. No size limits worth worrying about, and nobody else can see your files. Prefer to send your own Drive, Dropbox or WeTransfer link? That works too.
You don't need a Gmail address. Any email works. Google may send you a short code the first time to confirm it's you, which is normal.
Always send the original files, not screenshots of them. Texting photos or sending them through Instagram crushes the quality and it shows on a big screen.
After launch
Two weeks of small fixes are included. After that, fill out the update form on this site and I'll quote you a price and a timeline based on how big the job actually is. You approve the number before any work starts, and if the honest answer is that nothing needs doing, I'll tell you that.
Sites I've built for other people
Every site here is one the owner agreed to let me show. If you'd rather I didn't show yours, that's completely fine and it changes nothing about the project or the price.
