Any photos that need real editing?

Only count photos that need something done to them: blurring out private details, removing a background, color correction, straightening, or repairing a damaged photo. Resizing, cropping and compressing are free and unlimited, so don't count those. If you're not sure, leave it at 0 and I'll tell you after I see your files.

Any videos that need trimming or editing?

Cutting the dead time off the front, trimming a clip down, stitching two together. Compression is always free. Leave at 0 if you're sending clips ready to use, or if you're not sure.

Do you need it rushed?

Standard is 1 week for the three designs, then 3 weeks to build. Rush is 3 days and 1 week. Each clock starts once the matching payment clears, and rush is only possible if you have all your photos and text ready up front.

A sentence or two, in plain language, the way you'd say it to someone at a barbecue, not the way you'd write it on a form. I'll polish the wording.

When did you start, and how did you get into it? *

Give me the year, and the real story behind it, what you were doing before, what pulled you in, what made you stick with it. This ends up being the part of the site people actually connect with, so don't hold back. Write as much as you want.

What makes your way of doing it different?

What do people get from you that they wouldn't get from the next person doing the same thing? Be specific, "we care about quality" is what everyone says. What do you actually do differently?

Tell me about your craft

Anything you want to say about the work itself, what you're obsessive about, what most people get wrong about it, a lesson that took you years to learn, something you're proud of that nobody notices. This is the stuff that makes a site sound like a person instead of a brochure. Ramble if you like; I'll shape it.

What do you offer? *

List everything, even the small stuff. If you have prices you want shown, put them here, listing prices builds trust and filters out people who were never going to book. "Contact for pricing" is fine too.

Which of those do you want more of?

So I give it the best spot on the page. And tell me if there's anything you'd rather stop being asked about.

Who's your ideal customer?

The kind you want more of. Age, situation, what they're usually trying to solve. Being specific here makes the whole site sharper.

Where are you, and what area do you serve?

City, a few counties, statewide, online only, whatever's true. Do you want a street address shown, or just the general area?

Numbers or milestones worth bragging about

Years in business, customers served, projects completed, awards with the year you won them, certifications, anything measurable. Numbers build trust faster than adjectives.

Favorite projects or success stories

Two or three. What the customer needed, what you did, how it turned out. Include dates or timeframes if they matter. Names optional.

Any reviews or testimonials?

Paste any quotes you have, with a first name and what they are (customer, parent, client). Or send a link to your Google or Facebook reviews. None yet? No problem, I'll leave room to add them later.

What's the one thing you want this site to do? *

Get the phone ringing? Prove you're legit when someone looks you up? Save you repeating the same answers? This shapes every decision I make.

How should people reach you? *

Call, text, WhatsApp, email, Instagram DM, or a form that emails you? Pick whatever you actually check. That becomes the main button on every page.

Contact details and social handles

Phone (say whether it can be public), email, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, Google Business listing. Skip any dead accounts, an abandoned profile hurts more than it helps.

Your hours, or how fast you usually reply

Setting that expectation on the site saves you a lot of annoyed follow-ups.

Any colors or style in mind?

Brand colors, or just a vibe, bold and energetic, clean and professional, warm, rugged. Or leave it entirely to me.

Websites you like, and ones you hate

Send links to both. Competitors or anything at all. Seeing what you like tells me more than any description, and what annoys you is just as useful.

The one feeling you want visitors to walk away with

e.g. "these people know what they're doing", "I trust them with my kid", "this is exactly who I've been looking for".

Any date you're working toward?

An event, a season, a launch, a busy period you want to be ready for. Give me the actual date if there is one and I'll be straight with you about what's realistic.

Anything special you want on the site?

A schedule of upcoming events, a page for one specific program or product, a photo gallery, a FAQ, a map.

What happens next: I read every one of these personally and reply, usually within a day. If I'm not the right person for your project I'll say so. If I am, you get a confirmed price, a timeline, and your Drive folder link. Once everything's in the folder I invoice the first 30%, and the design clock starts once that's paid.
